Mr. and Mrs. William Boller and family of Wausau visited her father, Henry
Wasserburger, last weekend.
Mary Jo Zilk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Zilk, is visiting her grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Zilk, in Milwaukee.
Guests of Drs. Milton and Sarah Rosekrans last weekend were their daughter, Mrs.
Elizabeth Lahn, Pat Fialkewski, and Mrs. Vernal Schmidt and family, all of
Milwaukee; their grandson, Christ Mallory of New Berlin; Dennis Smith and Tom
Bergemann of Eau Claire; and Jean Hagen of Minneapolis.
Mr. and Mrs. Wally Quicker of Neillsville have returned home from a trip to San
Diego, Calif., where they visited his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Mervin Voigt,
former Neillsville residents. They were gone two weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Helwig held a supper Saturday in honor of their son, Harry,
who will leave for Vietnam June 27. Guests were: Miss Victoria Helwig of
Minneapolis, Andrew Helwig of Racine, Mr. and Mrs. Leland Hanson, Lori and Leni,
of Granton; and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Helwig of Aurora, Ill.
Mrs. Claude Ayers of Olympia, Wash., surprised Mrs. Alex Gall by sending a
round-trip plane ticket to Olympia, Wash., and return. Mrs. Gall left from
Minneapolis by jet for a two week visit with Mr. and Mrs. Ayers and Mrs. Vera
Matheson, who makes her home with her daughter.
Dist. Attorney and Mrs. Norman Saracoff and family spent Memorial weekend in Rib
Lake with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Taylor.
Frank Deckert and his son and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Deckert of Fresno, Cal.,
are expected for an extended visit with Dr. and Mrs. H. A. Frank and family.
Mrs. Lyle Sischo, the former Beatrice O’Brien who was here for her class
reunion, has left for her home in Springfield, Ore. While here she was a guest
of Miss Gladys Parrett, who accompanied her to Springfield to spend two weeks.
Mr. and Mrs. Joe Rasch have returned to Wilmette, Ill., after spending the
weekend with her sister, Mrs. Herman Lenzkow.
Mr. and Mrs. Ira Davis of Springfield, Ore., and Mrs. Floy Huntley were dinner
guests Monday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Maegdefessel. Tuesday they visited
in Owen with Mrs. Carol Bushnell and family.
