Funeral services for John Daellenbach, 87, who died March
2, were held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at Christ Lutheran church at
Abbotsford. The Rev. F. H. Sprengler
conducted the services during which Miss Dorothy Kieser and Mrs. Charles Plautz
sang “Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus” and “I Know of a Sleep in Jesus Name”, with
Vicar Quintin Quade as the organist.
The interment was made in the Abbotsford cemetery.
The pallbearers were H. J. Amacher, John Bremer, Arnold Laack, Clarence
Nelson, Emil Uhlig and Val Wojner.
Among those from away who attended the funeral were Mr.
and Mrs. Herman Haack, Susan, Dorothy, Stanley and Ronald of Middleton, Mr. and
Mrs. Tonly Shomberg of Madison, Mr. and Mrs. Juergen Piezker of Watertown, Mr.
and Mrs. Conrad Daellenbach of Manitowoc, Mr. and Mrs. W. D. Cox of Duluth, Mr.
and Mrs. Chris Daellenbach of Siern, Ernest Cox of Chippewa Falls, Mr. and Mrs.
Wayne Hoffman of Proctor, Minn., W. G. Hamel of Arpin, C. J. Williams of Madison
and friends from Loyal, Owen, Medford, Dorchester, Curtiss, Unity and vicinity.
