Igras, Frank (15 SEP 1884 - 30 APR 1964)

Frank Igras, 79, a resident of the City of Thorp for the past twenty years, died at the Stanley Hospital of old age complications on Thursday, April 30, 1964.

He had been in ill health for the past year and was taken to the nursing home at Stanley about a month ago.

Mr. Igras was born in Poland Sept. 15, 1884.

Upon coming to the Thorp community he moved on a farm in the town of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.) where he and his wife raised a family of seven children. His wife passed away in July 1944.

Funeral services for the deceased were held at St. Hedwig's Chapel in the city at ten o'clock on Monday morning, May 4th, Rev. Edward Masalewicz officiating, and interment following in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were Ed Przybylski, Frank Krall, Wm. Balicki, Ben Wiernasz, Malen Teclaw and Stanley Fortek.
