Mrs. Jim King and Mrs. Fred Vine went to Marshfield
Wednesday to visit friends and particularly Mrs. Geo. Wilding who is ill at the
hospital.
Roy King and family who burned out and lost all their
household goods last week have moved into one of Ted Huckstead’s houses.
The Hall house which was burned was partially insured.
The Pleasant Ridge Ladies Aid met at Mrs. Lon Huckstead’s
last week Thursday and spent the day in sewing for Mrs. Roy King and her
children.
Merrill Darling, the fattest seven months old baby the
Ridge ever saw, Fred Darling’s only child, is ill since Tuesday.
Dr. Matheson of Neillsville is attending.
Richard Selves had a hay bee Wed. and hauled to Kurth.
Henry Carter had a log bee last Friday and another on
Saturday, getting ready to build that new barn.
