Mrs. Dave Janes and children arrived in town last
Thursday. They all had the small
pox. They will get moved into the
Canfield house this week.
Jerome Rinehart’s house caught fire Thursday and if it
had not been for the neighbors it would have burned down as it got quite a
start, burning a large hole in the roof.
The masquerade dance at the town hall was well attended.
There was quite a crowd gathered at the hall Sunday for
German church, but the minister failed to come.
Dave Janes has got over the small pox and the doctor
raised the quarantine last Saturday.
No one else has caught the disease.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Gall were Granton callers Thursday.
Ralph Scholtz from Lynn spent Sunday at home.
Mr. and Mrs. Schwanebeck spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs.
Christian Feutz at the cheese factory.
Robert Schreiber is getting ready to put up ice.
Oscar Ziemendorf who has been visiting at Ed Ziemendorf’s
returned to his home in Wausau, Thursday.
The new lamp at the town hall is a great improvement. All lights up all around in front of the hall and no one now is in danger of breaking his neck by stepping off the porch in the dark
