Mary Fechhelm (12 February 1884 - May 1968)

UNITY - Mrs. Mary Fechhelm, 84, route 1, Unity died following a stroke at 4 a.m. today (Saturday) at the Memorial Home in Neillsville.

Services will be conducted at 10: 30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Colby with the Rev. John B. Pinion officiating.

The body will repose at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby from Monday morning until the time of services. There will be a Christian Mothers Society rosary at 7:30 p.m. Monday, and a general rosary at 8:30 p.m. Monday.

Mrs. Fechhelm was born Feb. 12, 1884, at Marshfield. Her marriage to Henry Fechhelm, who preceded her in death April 27, 1943, took place Feb. 17, 1909, at Marshfield.

In 1921, the couple moved to a farm near Dorchester, and in 1930 to a farm in the town of Hull where Mrs. Fechhelm resided until going to the Memorial Home two years ago.

Survivors are a son Joseph, route 1, Unity; two daughters, Mrs. Phillip (Helen) Scheckelman, Loyal; and Mrs. Clarence (Verna) Peterson, Chicago; and seven grandchildren.
