settled first in Westboro, shortly thereafter, however, homesteaded the farm
northwest of the village, now occupied by Arnold Ruprich. He attended Liberty
School and also went to school at Westboro.
On January 9, 1908, he and Hulda Wolf were married here, and they operated the
home farm until her death April 26, 1936, with Mr. Ruprich retiring from active
farming in 1938. He had worked in several capacities in this and other
communities since.
Surviving are three sons, Arnold, Dorchester, Alvin, Wausau, and Elmer, Oshkosh;
two daughters, Mrs. Henry (Annie) Fisse, Dorchester, and Mrs. Ervin (Hildegard)
Jahsman, Wausau, and five grandchildren. One son, Alfred, died in infancy, and
he also was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Frank Ruprich, Sr.,
Westboro, and a sister, Mrs. Vinz (Vince) Pueschner.
