Cannonville (24 JUN 1915)
The ball game between Neillsville and Granton Sunday, June 12th, was postponed
on account of the rain, but we noticed in the Shortville items that Pleasant
Ridge boys did not play on account of not getting the players together. We don’t
blame the Ridge boys for not getting out in the mud and water with their new
cars. Shortville hitched up to a high wheel wagon and made it on low and got
there safely. Cannonville didn’t let them make a score and Shortville felt quite
cheap about it.
