Brooks, Della D. (11 July 1880 - 14 July 1968)

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Georgas Funeral Home for Mrs. Della D. Brooks, 88, of Memorial Home, who died Sunday. The Rev. W.C. Koehler of the United Church of Christ officiated. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.

Mrs. Brooks, the former Della Drovak, was born July 11, 1880, in Muscoda. She attended school there and attended the Chicago Business College, later doing secretarial work. She was married August 29, 1905, to Dr. J. H. Brooks, who died in 1957. Since 1905 she had made Neillsville her home.

She had been a resident of Memorial Home for several years. She was a charter member of the Monday Progress Club and of the Order of Eastern Star for over 47 years.

Mrs. Brooks is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Donald T. (Jessie Priscilla) Ward of Glenn Mills, Pa., and by a son, James Welton Brooks of Bayside. Other survivors include six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
