Greenwood (18 July1968)
The Women’s Society of Christian Service will meet Friday afternoon July 19 at
the Grace United Methodist Church. Hostesses will be Mrs. Robert Bartelt and
Mrs. Fred Hohl.
The Adult Fellowship will meet in the Zion United Church of Christ at 8 p.m.
Sunday, July 21. Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Olson and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schneider
will be hosts.
The Adult Fellowship of the Immanuel United Church of Christ will have their
annual picnic on the church grounds, following the worship service Sunday, July
21. A pot luck noon meal will be served.
The Rev. Jack Grether of Neillsville will be the guest speaker at the Sunday
morning worship service on Sunday (July 21) at 9:30 a.m. at the Zion United
Church of Christ and at 10:45 a.m. service at the Immanuel United Church.
Recent guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Schwarze were their three
children and families, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Schwarze and daughter Laurie of
Rochester, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kropf and daughter Sandra of West Allis;
and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Schwarze of Sun Prairie, also Mrs. Agnes Weber of Beaver
Dam.
