SOUTH SPENCER

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stargardt and daughter Pauline, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Gauger and
Mr. and Mrs. Bob Gauger and daughter drove to Ripen Sunday to attend the
celebration of the 10th Wedding Anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Sauerbrei.
Mrs. Sauerbrei is the former Francisa Stargardt.
Mrs. Frances Sterling and daughter Ruth and her girl friend spent the week end
and Labor Day at the home of Mrs. Sterling’s brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and
Mrs. Emil Cartwright.
Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Nelson and son Bob of Chicago, who had been visiting at the
Art Beahm home, returned to their home Labor Day.
Mr. and Mrs. Art Beahm and Laurna spent Friday evening at the Reinie Wiersig
home at Colby.
Mabel and Margaret Wuske of Green Lake, Wis., spent the week end with their
cousins Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hoff.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Krist and family visited the Wenzel Hofmann home and at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hoff over the weekend. Mrs. Krist is the former Rose
Hofmann.
The south Spencer Special Homemakers Club will have their first meeting of the
coming year on September 17, at the home of Mrs. Bert Krohn at 2 o’clock.
