A mother-daughter banquet was held at the loyal Methodist Church dining hall
Saturday evening was attended by 110.
The dinner was prepared by the circle whose chairman is Mrs. Chester
Hebert, was served by the Methodist Men’s Club.
Members of the program and decoration committee were Mrs. Steve Brussow, Mrs.
Neil Johnston, Mrs. William Tucker, Mrs. M.W. Erickson and Mrs. James Ryman.
A welcome was extended by the toastmistress, Mrs. Paul Doering and followed by
the table prayer sung by the group.
A toast to daughters was given by Mrs. William Trindal and answered with a toast
to mothers by her daughter, Cynthia.
A piano solo was presented by Delores Rakovec followed with a song by Joy Ann
Cook, Shelby Trindal, Vicki Rayhorn and Alana Zepplin.
A declamation, “Magic Night’, was given by Karlene Brussow and Patty
Francis sang a solo number.
Plants which centered the tables were given to the mothers.
