SOUTH SPENCER

The Sawyer School Card Club met at the Sawyer School Friday evening, October 31.
Four tables of Sheephead were in play. Prizes were merited by Mrs. Bert Krohn
and Alfred Pearl, high; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hoff, second; and Richard Koch,
traveling. Lunch was served by Mrs. Bert Krohn.
Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Griepentrog and family of Milwaukee visited last week at
the home of his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. William Kommer and with other
relatives.
Mr. and Mrs. John Carrol and daughter Suzanne of Milwaukee were week end guests
at the home of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Dittman, they were
accompanied by Mrs. Carrol’s mother, Mrs. Minnie Renner and daughter Charlotte
who were guest of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Hoops.
Mr. and Mrs. Martin Below and Jerry visited Sunday at the home of his
brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Foth, at Mosinee.
A birthday party was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hoff Saturday
evening in honor of Mrs. Hoff. Cards were played and a lunch was served.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Adams were Sunday evening guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Leo. A. Miller at Marshfield.
