Mrs. Blaisdell Passes Away

Word has been received in the village of the death of Mrs. Eugene Blaisdell of San Leandro, California on December 7th.

Mrs. Blaisdell was the former Julia Ruhmer of Dorchester. Besides her husband, she is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth, Secretary of the Y. W. C. A. at Seattle, Wash., and three sons, Kemper and John at home and Roger also living in California, one daughter, Margaret having died in infancy.

Mr. and Mrs. Blaisdell moved to California about seven years ago from Rockford, Ill.

Mrs. Blaisdell has been in poor health for a number of years and was just recovering from an illness after she slipped and fell in her home on December 6th and fractured her hip. She died the following day of pneumonia and shock. Mr. and Mrs. Blaisdell were brother and sister-in-law of Mrs. Harry Bodel and at one time lived in Spencer. The Record extends sympathy to the family.
