Saturday evening at Trinity First Lutheran Church, Minneapolis, Minn. with Rev.
A. H. Fehner officiating, Joanne Jeanine Karau, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John
Karau of Spencer, Wisconsin and Antone Loppnow of Loyal, Wisconsin, exchanged
marriage vows.
The bride chose a powder-blue crepe gown with white accessories and carried a
colonial bouquet of white camellias and hyacinths.
Miss Donald Northwehr, matron of honor and classmate of the bride wore a gown of
brown and white with brown accessories. Her colonial Bouquet was Talisman roses
and white hyacinths backed with burnt orange maline.

During the ceremony Mrs. James Hume, Spring Lake, Michigan, sang “O Perfect
Love” and “The Lord’s Prayer”.
A buffet luncheon was served by the parents of the bride at the Zimmerman
apartment, 2859 [?] So 35 Ave. following the services.
Mrs. Loppnow graduated from the Spencer High School with the class of 1947 and
is now a member of the graduating class of the Minneapolis Northwest School of
Medical Technology.
The groom is a graduate of Loyal High School Class of 1945.
Mr. and Mrs. Loppnow will reside in Minneapolis, Minnesota where the groom is
now employed.
The Record joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best
wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
