Lautenbach, Arlo H. (1 July 1902 - 29 July 1968)
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday from St. John’s Evangelical
Lutheran Church in Neillsville for Arlo H. Lautenbach, 66, of Neillsville who
died here Monday. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Norman W. Lindloff
of Neillsville. Burial will take place in Zion American Lutheran Cemetery.
Mr. Lautenbach was born July 1, 1902, the son of August C. and Ottilia (Cousin)
Lautenbach. A veteran of eight months’ service in World War II, Mr. Lautenbach
never married. He was born and received his education in Clark County, and for
many years served as the clerk of the Village of Granton. He was employed at the
old Bluett Hardware in Granton for many years, and had worked for 10 years in a
manufacturing plant in Chicago.
Surviving are six sisters: Mrs. Dave (Margaret) Seif of Neillsville, Mrs. Nelda
Garbisch of Granton, Mrs. Anna Goodrich of Janesville, Mrs. Arnold (Edna) Wikum
of Edgerton, Miss Anita Lautenbach of Neillsville, and Mrs. Werner (Elsie)
Jahnke of Elgin, Ill. Three brothers also survive. They include: Martin
Lautenbach of Granton, Theodore of Milwaukee and Robert of Marshfield.
