Genett, Elroy V. (4 APR 1937 - 7 MAR 2013)

Elroy V. Genett, 75 of Kenosha, died on Sunday evening, March 3, 2013 at the Clairidge House in Kenosha, WI.

Funeral services will be 11am Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield with Rev. Gail Sowell officiating.

Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield.

Visitation time will be from 10am until time of service on Thursday at the Rembs Funeral Home.

Elroy was born on April 4, 1937 to Albert and Hilda (Shorer) Genett in Colby, WI. He was married to Gaye E. Roder on September 2, 1971 and later divorced. She died on September 27, 2012.

He served in the United States military then following his discharge he moved to Kenosha and worked and retired from the Chrysler engine plant after 38 years. He enjoyed his children and sprint car races.

Elroy is survived by his children, Melissa Genett of Kenosha, Debra (Charles) Weiler of Rudolph, Dennis Strossner of Portage, Sandra (Alfred) Ruffalo of Kenosha, Sharon (Paul) Schill of Arpin, Christopher (Shawn) Strossner of Vesper and Bonita Turner of Wisconsin Rapids.

He is further survived by his siblings Dale Genett, Goldie Mews, Janet Tysver, Susan Welcher and Jeff Genett.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter Carol Pacetti and brother Wayne Genett.
