Blanche Beyreis (4 Jan 1904 - 1973 )

Mrs. Blanche Irene Beyreis, 69, of 606 LaSalle St., Spencer, died at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Spencer United Methodist Church. The Rev. Bervie Scott, pastor, will officiate and burial will be made in the West Spencer cemetery.

Friends may call at the Rux Funeral home in Spencer after 2 p.m. Friday.

The former Blanche Kayhart was born on Jan. 4, 1904, in the town of Holton and received her education there. She was married on June 20, 1922, at Dorchester to Ernest Beyreis, who survives her, and they have lived at Spencer for the past 24 years.

In addition to her husband, those surviving her are four daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Loos, Marshfield; Mrs. Ray (Shirley) Nevala, Withee; Mrs. Elmer (Joyce) Bombach, Willard; and Mrs. Albert (Gale) Zorman, also of Willard; a son, Verlyn Beyreis, Spencer; two brothers, Albert Kayhart, Colby; and Donald Kayhart, Chili; three sisters, Mrs. Adell Collier, Green Bay; Mrs. Ray (Helen) Wieland, Yakima, Wash.; and Mrs. Fred (Dorothy) Meyer, Willard; her mother, Mrs. Ada Kayhart, Green Bay; 16 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

A brother preceded her in death.
