NHS Class of 1963 (5-Year Reunion - 1968)
The graduating class of 1963 of Neillsville High School held their five-year
reunion Saturday evening at Bali Hai. Forty-three members of the class were
present with a total attendance of 73.
Kathleen (Slone) Hutchison was mistress of ceremonies.
Two members of the class, Bob Galbreth and Barbara Meyer are deceased.
Prizes were given for the following: longest distance traveled, Kathrine Jordan;
longest married, Joan (Halle) Kurasz; youngest child, Charles Hainz; longest in
school, James Laatch; only couple to stay together, Sandra (Stelter) Kren and
Richard Kren; first to arrive at reunion, August Jordan; only one wearing wig,
Janice (Yenni) Radwanski; shortest dress, Dixie (Dyer) Hanson; changed the most,
Daniel Schulist; grayest hair, James Laatch; changed the least, Sally Meier;
last to arrive, Thomas Schaub; lost most hair, Lawrence Kyle; first reservation,
Thomas Schaub; last to arrive, Charles Hainz; and last reservation, Richard
Schmidt.
The planning committee included Kathleen (Slone) Hutchinson, Joan (Halle)
Kurasz, and Kaila (Langreck) St. Louis. Members voted to hold a 10-year reunion
in 1973.
