Last Friday a surprise was had on Mr. and Mrs. Sam Fike at Mrs. Hetty Dow's.
Quite a crowd turned out and all reports a very good time.
Morris Dickerson and Clarence Wilcox are plowing on Dan Brooks' land, as they
have rented his land for next year.
Louie Hill attended the football game at Grand Rapids last Saturday.
Miss Pearl Wilcox is to be married Wednesday and came over to visit her relation
that live around here.
Mrs. Waite Wilcox is to have a shower at her home Wednesday p.m. for her.
The school sent $1700 to help the Red Cross work.
Mr. Koser sold his farm, so E. Montag will no doubt have to move.
Otto Rupno has just finished moving a barn for Chas. Cross that he bought of
Will Bealer.
We are sorry to say Mrs. George Waterman is in the Marshfield Hospital again.
Jay Waterman went to Granton Saturday to visit his sunt, Mrs. Gustie Breed.
Ladies Aid will meet with Mrs. Earl Cattanach next Wednesday, the 21st, in the
forenoon. A lap lunch will be served just the same as always. Ladies please
bring shears and thimbles as there will be work.
