Mr. and Mrs. Karl Behrens left Sunday for Franklin Park, Ill., after visiting at
the Adolph Jackson and Louis Behrens homes.
Guests Tuesday at the Wilbur Stewart home were Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Lang and
family of Anaheim, Calif.
Da Neil Humke and Vern Schwarze spent the first of last week in Milwaukee, where
they attended the state fair and visited relatives.
The Rev. David Logue attended the northwest association executive meeting in Eau
Claire Tuesday.
The 12th birthday of David Acker was celebrated Sunday afternoon at the home of
his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Acker. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Richard
Mikolajszyk of Owen, Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Verhulst and family of Loyal, the Misses
Peggie and Laura Kocher of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Acker and Kenneth and
Ricky Severson of Greenwood. Guests Sunday evening were Mr. and Mrs. Lester
Himes of Owen.
Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Fegre and family of Janesville spent a week here with her
mother, Mrs. Emma Johnson.
Mr. and Mrs. Myron Kenyon left Tuesday for Eau Claire, Mich., to visit their
son, Lloyd and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bobb and family have returned to Watertown after spending
several days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ignatz Koschak.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Plunkett and family of Milwaukee, who spent a week at the
Harry Plunkett home, left to vacation at Pelican Lake. They were accompanied by
Jim, Ellen and Joe Plunkett, who had spent the summer with their grandparents.
Guests Sunday at the Ralph Kebl home in Marshfield were Mr. and Mrs. Simon
Wehrman, Arleigh Syth, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cox, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Kebl and
Mr. and Mrs. John Syth of Greenwood and Mr. and Mrs. George Syth and daughter of
Eau Claire.
Mr. and Mrs. Dennis McCarty and daughters returned to Park Forest, Ill., Friday
after a week’s visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Plunkett.
