SERVICES HELD FRIDAY FOR MRS. OLE ANDERSON

Mrs. Ole Anderson, a pioneer resident of the Withee community, passed away at 10:20 Tuesday forenoon February 11 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, where she had been hospitalized for several weeks.  Prior to entering the hospital she had been making her home with a daughter, Mrs. William Kiviko, at Spencer for the past two years. 

Funeral services were held Friday morning, February 14, at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen.  Father H. L. Crubel officiated with burial being made in the family lot at Riverside.

The former Bessie Ryan was born October 28, 1893, at Withee.  Her marriage to Ole Anderson who preceded her in death January 4, 1960, took place at Withee.  Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church.

She is survived by four sons, William and Leonard, Flint, Mich;  Aaron and Myron, Withee; a daughter Mrs William (Lucy) Kiviko, Spencer; three sisters, Mrs. William (Francis) McCarthy, Miss Esther Ryan, and Mrs. Andres (Ruby) Verouch, Flint, Mich; and 15 grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son.
