HEART ATTACK FATAL TO PAUL SCHULTZ, 76
Paul Richard Schultz, 76, Route 1, Curtiss, died at
4:00 A.M. January 30 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
He had suffered a heart attack eight days ago,
and had been hospitalized since.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at
St. Peter’s Lutheran Church at Dorchester.
The Rev. F. H. Sprengler officiated and burial
was made in the Dorchester Memorial Cemetery.
Paul Schultz was born July 2, 1887, in the town of
Little Black, and received his education there.
His marriage to Erna Wilke who preceded him in
death, took place December 10, 1913 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
Mr. Schultz had farmed in the town of Mayville
for 52 years.
He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, and the
Brady School Board.
He is survived by two sons, Clarence and Albert,
Curtiss; two daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Leona) Kuegler, Dorchester, Mrs. Harvey
(Verna) Rosenquist, Waukegan, Ill; a brother, Frank, Brooking, S.D.; six
sisters, Mrs. Anna Tonn, Curtiss; Mrs. Amanda Virck, Peshtigo; Miss Martha
Schultz, Abbotsford; and Misses Hattie, Bertha and Gertrude Schultz, Milwaukee;
11 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, and a sister.
