Woldstad, Lois Marie (30 NOV 1963)
Miss
Lois Marie Woldstad, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Richard Woldstad of Alberton, Mont.,
and Kenneth Ray Buchanan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Buchanan, Curtiss, were
married at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 30 at the Christian Missionary Alliance
Church in Missoula, Mont.
The
Rev. Mr. Mallery, Pastor of the Alliance Church at Arlee, Mont., was the
officiating clergyman and Mrs. Dick Smautz was the soloist.
The
bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white net and lace over
taffeta designed with scalloped neckline, fitted waistline and floor-length
skirt tiered at the back and front.
A
crown of pearls held her shoulder-length veil and she carried an arrangement of
red and white carnations over a white Bible.
Bridal
aides were Miss Barbara Woldstad, the maid of honor; Carol Woldstad, junior
bridesmaid and Kristy Blasdel, flower girl.
They were attired in turquoise lace frocks made with scalloped necklines
and skirt bottoms, and carried white baskets with turquoise-tinted carnations.
Randy
Blasdel served as ring bearer; John Woldstad was best man and Robert Mallery was
the junior groomsman. Serving as
ushers were Edwin and Donald Blasdel, both of Kalispell, Mont.
Immediately following the wedding, the reception was held in the church dining
room.
The
bride, a 1961 graduate of Arlee High School, Arlee, Mont., completed two years
of schooling at St. Paul Bible College in St. Paul, Minn., and presently was
employed by Thorp Finance in Thorp.
The
bridegroom, a 1958 graduate of Colby High School, is engaged in dairying in
Curtiss.
Among
the wedding guests in Montana were the bridegroom’s mother, Mrs. Floyd Buchanan,
Curtiss, and his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Blythe Stanton,
Tacoma,, Wash.
