SOUTH SPENCER

Mr. and Mrs. John Dahlke and family of Edgar and her father, Mr. Lingl of
Canada, who is a guest at their home, were Sunday afternoon visitors at the
homes of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Hoff and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hoff.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Vanderhoof of Spencer and their guests Mrs. Emma Natzke and
Rudy Rose and daughter Marliss of Wayside were supper guests Tuesday evening at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Hoops.
Mrs. Roy Dittman attended the funeral of Mrs. Louis Trierweller at Marshfield
Wednesday afternoon.
Miss Violet Hanson visited Mrs. Albert Adams Wednesday afternoon.
A miscellaneous shower was given at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hoff Sunday
evening in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Hoff. Cards were played and prizes were
awarded to Mrs. Victor Fischer and Alfred Pearl, high; Mrs. Martin Below and
Victor Fischer, second; and Alfred Pearl traveling prize and Mrs. Victor Fischer
won the door prize. Mr. and Mrs. Hoff received many nice gifts. Lunch was served
by the hostesses, Mrs. H. J. Pederson and Mrs. Ervin Hoops.
