Hake, Marie H. (1948)
Neumann-Hake
Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Miss Marie H.
Hake, Wausau, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hake, Curtiss, became the bride of
Robert Neumann, son of Mrs. Ann Neumann, Spencer. Rev. A. C. Stapel performed
the ceremony.
The bride was attired in a white slipper satin gown with a shirred bodice,
square neckline, and full length train edged in lace. She chose a finger-tip
veil and a white carnation headdress to match the white carnations on her dress.
The bridal bouquet was an arrangement of jonquils and swonsonia.
Besides the maid of honor, Miss Delores Krienke, Stevens Point and the best man,
Roland Hake brother of the bride, the wedding party included Mr. and Mrs. Ray
Neumann, Spencer, brother and sister-in-law of the groom and Mr. and Mrs. Ray
Boneske, Owen, brother-in-law and sister of the bride.
Miss Krienke wore a pink net formal with a satin appliqued bodice. The
bridesmaids were dressed in yellow. All three attendants carried colonial
bouquets of carnations.
At 5 o’clock supper was served at the home of the bride’s parents.
Mrs. Neumann, a graduate of the Colby High School and of a beauty culture school
at Milwaukee, was employed by the American Beauty Shop at Wausau. Mr. Neumann
graduated from Spencer High school and is employed by the Dairy Belt Milk
Products Company of Spencer. They will make their home in Spencer.
The Record joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best
wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
