Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Eisentraut and Mr. and Mrs. Clemens Kuechenmeister autoed to
Unity Thursday and visited at Wm. Jahr's.
The aid at Mrs. Lon Huckstead's was well attended, and the proceeds amounted to
$6.65.
Mrs. Lon Huckstead and Mrs. Hill spent last Friday with Mrs. Otis Slcocomb.
A goodly delegation of Red Cross workers from the Neillsville Chapter attended
the ladies aid meeting of Mrs. Leo Huckstead's and distributed yarn and needles
among the new recruits to the knitting force on Wednesday.
Mrs. Joe Brown is improving nicely, although as yet confined to her home.
Mrs. Julius Drescher is on the gain now.
Mrs. Clemens Kuechenmeister attended the Aid and made some pleasant calls among
the sick on Wednesday.
Will Hubing is here from Montana since Wednesday evening on a few days visit at
his mother's, Mrs. Mary Hubing's.
Mrs. Hill, who spent the summer at Bert Huckstead's, left for Milwaukee to
attend the funeral of a young man cousin. Mr. Hitchendorf of that city, who died
very suddenly on Wednesday. The funeral is set for today, Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Petznick were given a big house warming and pleasant
surprise party last Saturday night by their neighbors, when a long to be
remembered pleasant time was had. Games, visiting and a fine lunch helped out
the evening's program.
