Dr. H.L. Rose of Granton was here on professional business, Wednesday morning.
Walter Baxter, who lost his arm in a circle saw accident several weeks ago, is
mending nicely and expected to come home from the Marshfield Hospital this week.
His close friends and neighbors got up a nice purse of money for him by public
subscription last week.
Mrs. H.W. Housley is visiting relatives in Sheboygan county the past two weeks
and Dr. autoed over to Granton and dined with Mr. and Mrs. H.S. Agin last
Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Clark Waterman and daughter Helene spent Sunday with relatives in
Granton.
Jay Waterman, Aug. Dankemyer and Harry Eide are soliciting Y.M.C.A. Army funds
this week. Never was there a more worthy cause solicited for. Help the good work
along, do your bit.
Mrs. Ernest Lee returned home from a week's visit with relatives at Withee on
Wednesday.
