Joseph T. Henke Dies After a Long Illness
Joseph T. Henke, a well-known resident of the city, died yesterday afternoon at
his home, 415 Huron street. Mr. Henke had been in failing health for over a year
past and his death was not a surprise. He was a native of Minnesota, residing in
that state and Wisconsin until he came to Montana a number of years ago.
He was for a considerable time engaged in the sheep business in the Havre
country, being one of the most prominent flockmasters there, but he finally met
with reverses in that business and came to Fergus county. He was 40 years of age
and is survived by the widow and three children residing here; his mother, four
brothers and three sisters. The funeral arrangements have not yet been completed
but due announcement will be made regarding them.
