Christie (8 Jul 1915)

A very large crowd attended the celebration at Neillsville Monday.

A. Barber has been very sick. Dr. Rath of Granton is attending him.

George Smith of North Dakota is here visiting at the Barber, Silkey and Chase homes.

H. Silkey and family were caught in the hard rain last week with his car. Although the roads were getting very bad the darn little Ford kept chugging right ahead.

Mrs. J. Bohnsack and three children drove to Granton Saturday.

Dr. Barber autoed down from Marathon last week.

The Baptist minister of Greenwood preached a very interesting sermon here Sunday. Next Sunday the Methodist minister of Marshfield will fill the pulpit.

Ed Silkey has been visiting at Neillsville.

Myrtle Barber returned from Marathon Thursday.
