Brown, Matilda Johanna Vanderloop (05 JUN 1902 – 03 JAN 1980)
Rev. James Fleming officiated at funeral services Jan. 5 at Divine Word Catholic
Church for Matilda Vanderpool Brown, Mrs. Brown died Jan. 3. She was 77.
Mrs. Brown lived in the Green Valley Trailer Park in Jackson. She was born in
Stanley on June 5, 1902 to Henry Vanderpool and Mary Huls Vanderpool. Her
husband Ray died in 1973. Survivors include her six children. They are: Raymond
(Gail) Brown, Cincinnati, Ohio; Mary Ann Wetzler, Burlington; Patricia Webb,
Grafton; Lyle (Sherry) Brown, Cedarburg; Ila (Donald) McGary, Florida; and
Richard (Sandra) Brown, Cedarburg. Mrs. Brown is also survived by her sister,
Agnes (Arthur) Jacques of Thorp and by 18 grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were made through the Schramka-Gunther Funeral Home,
Cedarburg. Burial was in Valhalla Cemetery, Milwaukee.
