Jurgelewicz, Charles (4 MAR 1890 - 17 MAY 1964)
Charles Jurgelewicz, 74, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield on
Sunday, May 17, 1964 of a heart attack.
Mr. Jurgelewicz, a farmer, was born March 4, 1890 in Poland. He came to America
in 1908 and resided in New York until 1927, they then moved to a farm at Lublin
where they since have resided. He was united in marriage to Stella Kozak on
Sept. 25, 1921 at New York City.
Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Assumption Church, Lublin on Wednesday,
May 20, 1964. Rev. A. Matla officiated at the ten a.m. service and burial was in
St. Mary's Assumption Cemetery. Pallbearers were grandsons: Robert Ricclotti and
Thomas Balicki, Chicago; Henry Balicki, Jr., armed services, Navy, Texas; Gerald
Balicki, Marshfield; Arthur Balicki, Thorp; and Theodore Woytowicz, Park Ridge,
Ill.
Surviving are his wife stella, two sons, Louis Jurgelewicz at home, Joseph
Jurgelewicz, Seattle, Wash.; three daughters, (Josephine) Mrs. Malen Balicki,
Thorp, (Anna) Mrs. Henry Balicki, Withee, (Mary) Mrs. Theodore Woytowicz, Park
Ridge, Ill.; two brothers, Stanley and Frank, address unknown; one sister
Albina, Poland; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. One brother,
Adolph, preceded him in death.
