Markowski, Delores E. (5 JUN 1965)

The marriage of Miss Delores Elizabeth Markowski and Lawrence Bernard Wink was solemnized Saturday, June 5th, 1965 at ten a.m. in Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen. The Rev. Hubert Crubel performed the ceremony. Yellow chrysanthemum plants decorated the altar and Sister Teresa Marie played the organ, and the all-girls choir sang.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Markowski, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.). The groom is the son of Mr. Albert Wink, Sr., of Thorp.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and chose a white floor length bridal gown of Chantilly lace with sequin trimmed Sabrina neckline. The bouffant skirt was of lace and tulle with tiers of ruffles in back. Her fingertip illusion veil was secured to a crown of pearl and crystal, and she carried a lace fan with a fascinating bouquet of red roses supported with loops of white satin ribbon.

Miss Margie Orzechowski, nice of the groom, was maid of honor. Miss Linda Markowski and Mrs. Leo Ludwig, sisters of the bride, were bridesmaids. They wore powder blue floo length formals of silk organza with beaded trim on the bateau neckline. The bell shaped skirt with Watteau panel accented the back and each wore matching floral cluster headpieces with bouffant veils. Their bouquets were sunburst bouquets of blue tinted carnations with garlands of white carnations.

Albert Wink Jr. was his brother's best man, and groomsmen were: Ronald Cardinal and Don Hodorowski. Usher was George Welciek.

Bells and blue and white streamers decorated St. Hedwig's Hall, Thorp, for the twelve o'clock dinner, reception and six o'clock supper. A dance also was held there.

The couple will make their home in rural Thorp, where the groom is engaged in farming.

Guests were from Thorp, Stanley, Lublin, Chippewa Falls, Eau Claire, Cadott, Boyd, Curtiss, Owen, Abbotsford, Spencer, Unity and Milwaukee, Wis., Chicago and Wheeling, Ill.
