Rev. E.O. Dircks performed the double ring ceremony, Saturday, July 31st, 1965 when Vera Mae James and Eugene F. Budzinski were married at two o'clock at the First Presbyterian Church, Stanley.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Emory Starks, R. 2, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. and Mrs. John M. Budzinski, Sr., R. 1, Thorp.

She chose a waltz length gown of white lace over taffeta trimmed with blue bows. She wore a light blue veil and a corsage of blue camellias and white stephanotis.

Velma Malinowski was her sister's matron of honor and Elaine Dietzman, friend of the bride, was bridsmaid. They wore waltz length gowns of blue lace over taffeta and each wore a corsage of pink carnations.

Clarence Schmidt, a friend of the groom, was best man. Ushers were George Starks, brother of the bride, and John L. Budzinski, Jr., brother of the groom.

A supper and reception for 120 guests were held at Koolmo's Ballroom, Gilman.

After the couple's wedding trip to Chicago, they are now residing at R. 3, Thorp. The groom is employed as a truck driver for Frank Ogurek.
