The Curtiss Community Club met at the Fire Hall council rooms on Thursday evening.  A large crowd attended and election of officers was held.  C. W. Geary was elected president, Victory Boegemoen vice president, and Mrs. Walter Lipprandt secretary and treasurer.

Engman Gilbertson of Fond du Lac spent several days here visiting at the home of his sister, Mrs. Martha Harmel and with other relatives.

Leister Krueger left by plane last Thursday for Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he will visit at the home of his brother, Elroy Krueger,, and family.

Barbara Smith of Milwaukee is visiting at the home of her father, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Smith.

Mr. Paul Kramas and daughter Doris, of Milwaukee visited several days at their home here.

The Curtiss Homemakers met at the council rooms on Tuesday evening.  The project was on Clothing Repair.  Ladies were Beverly Utke and Geraldine Frane.  Hostesses were Ida Schiszik and Lucy Johnson.
