S. H. S. High Honor Students
Patricia Drews and Eunice Griepentrog rank highest in scholastically in this
years Spencer High School graduating class. Both girls are not only graduating
with outstanding scholastic records, but both have been very active in all
phases of their school life.
Patricia Drews, Valedictorian, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Drews Route
3, Marshfield. She completed her elementary training in the Cameron School, Town
of Spencer, before coming to Spencer High School. Patricia has been in the band,
glee club, F.H.A., and girls’ athletics throughout her four years in high
school. She has been president of her class during her Sophomore and Senior
years. This year she is the editor of the school news and has served on the
staff for three years as well as the annual staff. She has taken part in class
plays the last two years, and forensics, the first three years.
Eunice Greipentrog, Salutatorian is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David
Greipentrog of Spencer. She attended the Spencer Public School before entering
high school. She, too, has been in the band, girls’ glee club, girls’ athletics
and F.H.A. throughout her four years of high school and served as secretary of
F.H.A. her Senior year. She is president of the Library Club and assistant
editor of the school annual this year. Eunice is Vice-President of her class and
served as secretary during her Sophomore year. She is also on the staff of the
school news.
Spencer High School is especially proud of these two girls not only because of
the high quality of work that [sic] did in the classroom but also because of
their varied extra curricular activities which have figured so much in the
successful history of their class.
