SOUTH SPENCER

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Adams was the scene of a family reunion the past week when their family were together for the first time in thirteen years. Present were Chester Adams, at home; Mr. and Mrs. Roy M. Adams, son Jay and daughter Mercedes of Chula Vista, California; and Dr. and Mrs. Edwin B. Adams and daughter Mary Grace of Burlington, Vermont. Edwin graduated this month from the Medical school of the University of Vermont at Burlington, Vermont and he and his family left Saturday enroute to Hawaii where he will be an interne at Queens Hospital in Honolulu. Roy and family left Wednesday for their home at Chula Vista, California, where he is employed as supervisor of tool engineering for the navy.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Dittman entertained the Sawyer School Card Club at their home Friday evening, seven tables were in play and prizes were awarded to Mrs. Richard Koch and William Pederson, high; Mrs. Alfred Pearl and Richard Koch, second; and H. J. Pederson, traveling. Lunch was served and the next meeting will be at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stargardt.

Mr. and Mrs. Wenzel Hofmann entertained friends and relatives at their home Wednesday evening. The occasion being their 12th Wedding Anniversary. Seven tables were in play and prizes were merited by Miss Pauline Stargardt and Victor Fischer high; Mr. and Mrs. Martin Below, second; and Carl Hoff, traveling.

A gift of money was presented the honor couple and lunch was served.
