Adler, Jacob (1852? - 21 MAY 1890)
Died, on Wednesday afternoon of last week, Jacob Adler died at his home north of
this city, from pneumonia, aged 37 years. He had been lying in a precarious
condition for some time, and this ever to be dreaded disease, soon gained such a
hold that it could not be checked. He was an unmarried man and the only brother
of Philip Adler. He came here some ten years ago from Washington county and
located on a farm near the cemetery, which he occupied until his untimely death.
The funeral took place on Saturday, and was very largely attended.
