Arnold E. Brecklin (20 Apr 1899 - 5 Jan 1949)

Dorchester – Relatives of Arnold E. Brecklin, 49, who was buried at Appleton Friday, have returned from attending funeral services there. Mr. Brecklin, a former resident, died at work suddenly Jan 5.

He was born in Dorchester April 20, 1899, and moved to Appleton about 30 years ago. He had worked there ever since.

He belonged to the First Methodist Church, the EMBA, and the Waverly Masonic Lodge, of which he was past worshipful master.

He is survived by his widow, who was Blanche Froland, a former local resident; two daughters, Ruth, Milwaukee, and Myrtle, at home; two sons, Carleton, Terre Haute, Ind., and Arnold Jr., Appleton; three brothers: Gust and Edmund, Dorchester; and Arthur, Neenah; three sisters, Mrs. Thomas Thierry, St. Paul; Mrs. George Hoff, Curtiss; and Mrs. Frank Paul, Horicon. One grandchild also survives.
