Ella Parkhill (17 Jul 1890 – 10 Jul 1961)

Funeral services were held in Abbotsford Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock for Mrs. Ella Parkhill, 70, who died Monday morning at the Bethel Convalescent Home in Arpin. The services were held in Polnaszek Funeral Home with Rev. Wallace Smith, pastor of the Presbyterian church in Edgar officiating. Burial was in the Holton Cemetery, Town of Holton.

Ella Amanda Yanke was born July 17, 1890 in Dorchester. She and Frank Parkhill were married here February 22, 1910. Mr. Parkhill was a railroad employee, and they lived in Abbotsford, Ashland and Kaukauna, and returned to Abbotsford where he died in 1941. She had resided there until she entered the Bethel home about four years ago.

Survivors include two brothers, Otto Yanke, Ontonagon, Mich., and Fred Yanke, Dayton, Ohio, and a sister, Miss Anna Yanke of Dorchester.

An infant daughter, three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
