A Ford touring car belonging to A.W. hales of the town of York (Clark Co., Wis.)
was stolen in Neillsville last Saturday night and up to this writing has not bee
found. The car was in charge of his son Harry, who in company with Miss Fern
Williams of this place, autoed down that night to attend a show, leaving the car
directly in front of the opera house, only discovered the loss when the
performance was over. He at once notified the authorities and the latter, after
two days unsuccessful hunt are of the opinion that the theft is the work of
professionals who took the car to some large city, perhaps out of the state. It
was a new Ford, just purchased a short time ago.
