John Nobel had a serious accident while sawing wood with a circle saw, Monday, coming in contact with the saw cut off the fore finger on his left hand. Other parts of the hand are badly damaged.

Ernest Hankey had some hay bailed Monday and Tuesday.

A.F. Dankemyer left for Antigo, Wis., where he expects to hunt and visit friends.

Carl Happe sawed wood for Willie Davis one day last week.

Mrs. Andrew Ley and son August autoed to Spencer Monday, taking Geo. Ley and Tom Verkuilen to take the train for Ladysmith and hunting grounds near there.

Miss Hannah Dankemyer assisted Mrs. Ernest Hankey with cooking for hay balers.

Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Dankemyer and Mrs. Walter Baxter autoed to Marshfield Friday and brought Mr. Baxter home with them.

Mr. and Mrs. Flay Curtis autoed to Marshfield Sunday to call on Mr. Timerson at the hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dankemyer accompanied them.

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Mundt were given a big house warming and pleasant surprise party last Saturday evening by their neighbors, when a long to be remembered pleasant time was had. Games, visiting and a fine lunch helped out the evening's program.

There will be a basket social and also a program in District No. 4 Tuesday, Nov. 27th. Everybody is invited. Ora Davis - teacher.

Mrs. Sherman Davis and Mrs. Fred Dankemyer visited school Tuesday.

Fred Hankey and family, Gus Riedel and family, and grandma Lempke spent Sunday at August Dankemyer's.

Chas. Wudke, Jennie Eibergen, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dankemyer autoed to Marshfield Friday evening and took in the "End of a Perfect Day.".

Reinhold Voigt and best girl were callers at Martin Dankemyer's Sunday.

Chas. Wudke installed gas lights at Charley Kempin's this week.

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Christensen autoed to Loyal Saturday evening to help hsi brother Ed celebrate his birthday.
