Herman Roehl was dragging roads Monday, so look out for bad weather.
Mrs. Edwin Happe is staying at Charles Lindow's this week.
Carl Happe hauled wood to Granton Monday and Tuesday.
Herman Roehl hauled a load of wood to Granton for his folks last Thursday.
McHone Bros. traded their two steam engines for a better one. While moving home
they tried the ditch to see how deep it was.
Our mail man goes with his motor cycle again. The roads are fine.
Dick Balke threshed for C.A. Happe Tuesday, it being the last job of the season.
Carl Happe sawed wood for Wellie Davis Tuesday and Wednesday.
Mim Baker helped Dick Downer with his plowing Saturday.
Anita Schlinsog is working for Mrs. Geo. Lindow.
Mrs. Carl Happe and Miss Hilda Ehrhardt were Chili visitors Saturday evening.
Virgil McHone is at home at present, after an absence of about 5 years, spent in
the west.
Neil Downer sawed wood Tuesday for Emil Bosselman and McHone Bros.
George Verkuilen entertained the thresher Thursday. Rumor has it that George
bought another separator and will do his own threshing another year.
Arthur Lindow helped shingle on C.A. Happe's barn on Monday.
