George Frank is home from the woods.

Mrs. Kaufman was at Fairchild Monday.

Mrs. Ella Travis went to Fairchild, Monday.

School began Monday, Bessie Lightfoot being the new teacher.

John Wampole and wife drove through our vicinity one day last week.

Ora Lane, of Hixton, visited at his uncle’s, Jesse Flick’s, Saturday.

Jessie Flick came home Saturday from Augusta, where she has been working.

The roads are in very bad shape as they are drifted full and no attempt made to make them any better.

James Bentson is working for C.H. Holman.

G.W. Person did business at Fairchild Tuesday.

John Dupont returned from the woods Saturday.

Perry Person is visiting with his cousin, George Peterson.

A.S. Johnson and family called on John Dupont’s family Sunday.

Monday was the first time the mail man has been through since Wednesday.

Louis Dupont and Albert Johnson broke the road to Fairchild Saturday.

Carl Holman and Charley Watson came home from the woods Saturday.

School commenced in district No. 5 Monday with Miss Maune Johnston as teacher.

Charley Holman, Alex Fields, Hardwick Nelson and Charley Watson returned to the woods Tuesday.
