Married at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Rickard Wednesday evening, Jan. 10 at 8 o’clock Miss Blanche Mae Rickard and Mr. Oscar M. Nelson, of Alma Center. Rev. Bryon officiating. Only a few immediate relatives of the bride witnessed the ceremony. Miss Marie Meyers acted as bride’s maid while Anton Mathison played the part of best man.

After the ceremony the happy couple and the guests sat down to a daintily prepared wedding supper. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson will visit his parents at Northfield until Monday when they will go to Alma Center to make their future home.

The Observer desires to be counted among those offering congratulations and hopes that life holds much of happiness and prosperity for Mr. and Mrs. Nelson.
