Albena Plockelman (31 Dec 1886 - 3 May 1932)
Dorchester folks were shocked and saddened to learn of the death of Mrs. Henry
Plockelman, who passed away early Tuesday morning at the St. Joseph Hospital,
Chippewa Falls, after an illness of two weeks' duration. Funeral services are
being held this (Friday) afternoon at two o'clock at the Little White Church
with Rev. I. Thiel officiating and the burial will take place in the Memorial
Cemetery.
Albena Miller was born at Bangor, Wis., December 31, 1886, and was 45 years 4
months and 3 days old at the time of death. She grew to womanhood in Wisconsin,
and on June 20, 1906, she was united in marriage to Henry Plockelman at Medford.
The happy couple moved to the groom's farm near Curtiss where they lived for 25
years. Two years ago they moved to Dorchester, their present home. Nine children
were born to this union, all of whom with their father, survive.
Mrs. Plockelman leaves her husband, nine children: Mrs. Fred Tauchen,
Dorchester, Miss Esther, Cleveland, Wis., Miss Ruth and Emil, Milwaukee, George,
Ray, Dorothy, Walter and Jeanne at home and four grandchildren, Harold, Bernice
and Margaret Tauchen and Marion Plockelman, to mourn her sudden departure.
The Clarion joins the many friends in extending a hand of sincerest sympathy and
deepest understanding in this dark hour.
