Oelrich-Hopfensperger
Now making their home on the bridegroom’s farm, Spencer route 2, are Mr. and
Mrs. Arnold George Oelrich, who recently returned from a honeymoon in Northern
Wisconsin and Michigan.
The former Muriel Ellen Hopfensperger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer
Hopfensperger, Spencer route 1, was married to Mr. Oelrich son of Mrs. Alvina
Oelrich, Spencer route 2, in the parsonage of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran
Church on July [unreadable]. The Rev. H. C. Hinz read the service.
Mrs. Lucille Pilz, Marshfield, sister of the groom, was matron of honor in a
gray suit worn with white accessories. A corsage of pink carnations was pinned
to her shoulder.
The bride also chose a gray suit and white accessories for her costume. Her
corsage was of orchids.
Marvin W. Hopfensperger, Junction City, a brother of the brie served as best
man.
A six o’clock dinner was served to the bridal party and immediate relatives that
evening. A reception and lunch for relatives and close friends followed at the
home of the bride’s parents.
Mrs. Oelrich attended school at Junction City and at Spencer. Her husband is
engaged in farming.
The Record joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best
wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
