Carl Anderson Passes Away

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock at the Anderson home and at 2 o’clock from the Trinity Lutheran Church,Unity, for Carl Anderson, 74 who passed away Saturday morning at 4:45 o’clock at St. Joseph’s Hospital Marshfield, Mr. Anderson had been in good health until last Thursday when he suffered a stroke and was taken to the hospital. He suffered another stroke Friday.

Rev. J. A. Olson officiated at the services and burial was made in the church cemetery. The body lay in state at the Anderson home north of Spencer in the Town of Brighton ended the [unreadable] of services.

Mr. Anderson was born in Sweden February [unreadable] 1874 and came to the United States in 1880. He had been living with his brother August, who passed away July 3, 1948, since the death of his wife October 30, 1929.

Surviving are two children, Mrs. Marvin Carlson, Unity and Victor Anderson, Romeo.
