Griepentrog-Ertl
Saturday, September 11 was the wedding day of Bernice Ann Ertl, daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. Arnold Margelowsky, route 3, Marshfield and Eugene Myron Griepentrog,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Griepentrog, route 1, Spencer. The ceremony was
performed in the parsonage with the Rev. A. C. Stapel of Trinity Lutheran Church
officiating.
Miss Ione Wellman, Spencer, a cousin of the groom was maid of honor and Kenneth
Ertl, Marshfield, brother of the bride was best man. Both the bride and her
attendant wore grey suits with black accessories and had corsages of gladioli
and soses [sic].
A 5 o’clock dinner was served that evening at the Margelowsky home. Mr.
Griepentrog who is employed at the Maurice Anderson saw mill, and his wife will
make their home with the groom’s parents for the present.
A shower was held the night of the wedding for the newlyweds and another shower
had been held on September 6.
The Record joins their many local friends in extending congratulations and best
wishes for a long and happy wedded life.
