Zink, Bonnie J. (28 AUG 1965)

Bonnie Jean Zink was in silk organza and Alencon lace for her marriage to Richard Lee Plansky, White Bear Lake, Minn., Saturday, Aug. 28, 1965, at St. Charles Catholic Church, Genoa. Rev. Dominic Eichman heard the 11 o'clock vows of the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar W. Zink and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard W. Plansky, Thorp.

A bouffant silk veil held in a seed pearl and crystal caplet of petals completed the bride's costume. She carried red happiness roses.

Mary lou Zink was maid of honor and Donald Van Loo, best man, with Hazel Thorgerson and Lois Groeschel, bridesmaids. Ronald Benzschawel and Pete Banning were groomsmen.

Bridal attendants wore azalea pink organza and re-embroidered organdy with matching crowns. They carried white carnations frosted with pink.

Five hundred were received in the Stoddard American Legion Hall.

The couple left on a trip to the western states and on returning will reside at 165 Wildwood Ave., White Bear Lake, Minn. The bridegroom is a mechanical engineer for Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing, St. Paul.

Prenuptial entertaining was by Viola and Lois Groeschel, Juanita McGinnis, Mabel Preidel, Frances and Helen Birnbaum, Marie and Patsy Wistenberg, Pamela Anderson, Christina Groeschel, Mary Lou Zink, Hazel Thorgerson, Sonja Gutzel, Carol Scheck, Marilyn Holen and the accounting department girls of Trane Co.
